Melisenda Stone, LMFT

Melisenda combines her personal experience with her professional training to offer an attachment-based therapy and family systems approach, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and secure attachment between a child and parent/caregiver. She is passionate about perinatal mental health and strives to support women along their journeys of family planning, offering guidance and understanding in the transformative phase of the fourth trimester and beyond.

With a deep commitment to helping young adults, adults, and families navigate challenges and transitions, Melisenda brings warmth, genuineness, and patience to her therapeutic practice. Additionally, she is open to integrating Christian faith into therapy, if desired.

Melisenda has completed training in Child Parent Psychotherapy, an evidence-based practice that focuses on restoring a child's mental health through nurturing attachment. Furthermore, she is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician, with advanced training in maternal mental health through the Maternal Mental Health Certificate course offered by PSI and The Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health.
